Chocolate Town Chip Cookies


1 cup butter flavored shortening
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 whole eggs
2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 cups chocolate chips

1. Heat oven to 375°F.

2. Beat shortening, brown sugar, granulated sugar and vanilla in large bowl until fluffly. Add eggs; beat well.

3. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt; add to sugar mixture, beating until well blended. Stir in HERSHEY’S Milk Chocolate Chips and nuts, if desired. Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.

4. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.
